42% The Golden Compass - Another attempt at capturing the LOTR/Narnia holiday audience. Sure this was based on a best selling book, but I'm sure the producers would have passed on this if it wasn't for the success of those other films. It's really hard to say if this will flop or not. It's pretty hard to predict these days. I mean, Enchanted? Really? Sometimes I forget that people like to watch "cute" movies. I'd much rather spend my time and money on one of the many Oscar contenders recently released. Duke loved No Country for Old Men, of course you would have known that if he actually wrote a review.
Music:
The damn Radiohead discbox finally made it's way to customers (in the UK, we US folks have to wait 2 weeks) and leaked on to the internet. The second disc contains 8 (6 actual "songs") tracks as well as some pictures of various nonsense. One of these days, I'll post a big review of both discs. In the meantime if you haven't downloaded In Rainbows, or purchased the Discbox make haste. Waste (I rhymed) will be closing the download section on 12/10. The discbox is also limited, and no further copies are to be pressed.
Games:
Duke is currently struggling with too many games to play. Instead of playing through Mario Galaxy like a true Nintendo fan would. He is caught in the middle of the amazing Orange Box and the RPG/Shooter Mass Effect. I'm sure to be in the same boat now that I own a Xbox 360. In the meantime, I'm having a great time playing Zack and Wiki. It's another great Wii game in a sea of stupid mini-games. Bravo Capcom for making a good Wii game, that is actually difficult. Those kids and grandparents will be crying there eyes out.
So Street Fighter IV looks bad ass...

Grand Theft Auto IV looks like it will be on 9th graders wishlists next Xmas
WiiFit is already a hit in Japan. Should be a hit here too. Now if only Nintendo could make more consoles. Look you can run in place now!!
Umm..ok that's it for now. Back to work.
