Hey everyone, just want to apologize for the lack of updates. I've been busy at work focusing on clearing my desk for my big Ireland-Amsterdam-Paris trip. Updates should remain slim until Mid-October. Raul Duke is also in the middle of moving, so he may not have time to update either.
This Week's Music Recommendations: Iron and Wine's The Shepherds Dog and Devendra Banhart's Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon
Both records are excellent indie folk releases. Iron and Wine's strongest effort as well as the best folk album Ive heard all year, and it's Banharts most genre bending mind tease yet. Pick them both up.
Radiohead LP7 info coming soon.
Radiohead have been updating their official site with strange symbols, of course the geeks at Ateaseweb have already cracked the code. According to them the above image says "MARCH WA X". The fans have already assumed that this a release date of some sort. March 10th is the current guess. Rumors that the band has finally signed to a label have also been floating around. Im sure we will find out soon enough.
Games: Halo 3 came out. In case you missed the Multi-Million Dollar Marketing Campaign. I guess it's good or something.
Zelda Phantom Hourglass releases next week
Good chance this will be the best DS title of the year. Just in time for that long ass plane ride too. Expect a review when I get back.
