The TGS (Tokyo Gaming Show) was this week, and with it a slew of announcements. One of the biggest being
The Return of Dual Shock

Sony controllers will finally rumble again. After already saying that rumble was "last-gen" and was "too difficult" for the PS3. It might have something to do with Sony fans, and Metal Gear creators whining about the lack of rumble in the joystick. Looks like Sony bit the bullet. Too bad it won't be available until Spring 2008. Sadly the much rumored 40 gig PS3 did not surface.
TONS of games announced......for cell phones?

Resident Evil 4, Megaman Legends, Parasite Eve 3, etc. When did cell phone gaming become such a money maker for game developers? You have to admit though, that RE4 cell phone game looks pretty sweet.
The Japanese love Halo 3!

Famitsu, Japan's leading game mag, somehow scored the first world exclusive Halo 3 review. Which is a bit of a shock considering the Xbox sells less then the gameboy on a day to day basis. So what did they think. Halo 3 was scored a 9,9,10,9. Which is extremely high for the magazine. Add to the fact that the FPS genre is very unpopular in Japan and it looks like Microsoft has another hit on their hands. Surprised? I didn't think so.
