So it's been awhile since I've posted, and things may stay this way as I am in the middle of a position change at the office. Despite this, a lot of good stuff happened this week. Lets review:

Music: Wilco's Sky Blue Sky was finally released on Tuesday. It's currently holding a very respectable meta-critic score of 80. Very well deserved. Go eat one Pitchfork.
Movies: My favorite film of last year, Pan's Labyrinth, has finally made it to DVD. If you haven't had the chance to see it, I beg you to do yourself the favor. How this film didn't win best foreign film at the Oscars is beyond me.
In theaters this week:
43% Shrek the Third - I'm sorry but I hope this bombs, it won't. The Shrek films are starting to feel as outdated at the song "All-Star" from Smash Mouth (which felt outdated to begin with). If Dreamworks wants to continue the Shrek franchise, let's hope it's on the small screen.

Games: Xbox fans finally have something besides Gears of War to drool over, as the beta for Halo 3 was released. Reaction has been very positive by our very own Raul Duke. Looks as though Microsoft will have another system seller come September 25th.
In other news, Nintendo has officially taken the world by storm with sales in Japan and the US at an all time high, and way ahead of Sony's PS3. Just look at these #'s
