It's April!!! What better way to start the month with a little box office discussion? Blades of Glory opened very well this weekend, further proving the comedy staying power of Will Ferrell. Meet the Robinsons did OK for a kids flick, but rather poor for a Disney flick. With TMNT quick drop to 4th place, it's possible that CG-animated films just aren't the big money makers of old. I'm sure Shrek III will still do fine. WIld Hogs and 300 are the biggest movies of the year!! (so far) which is pretty interesting considering the audience these films attract. Next week the highly anticipated (by me) Grindhouse gets released. 3 hours of blood, boobs, and blowing stuff up. Sounds like a great time to me.
