Sure, last nights Golden Globes had some predictable winners like Jennifer Hudson for Dreamgirls and Helen Mirren for The Queen. However it left the favorite for best picture up in the air. With Dreamgirls winning best musical, Babel grabbing best drama, and Scorsese winning best director, anything can happen come Oscar night. A Departed win may not be a sure bet now.

Out of all the awards, I felt the strangest was Prince's win. Dreamgirls wins best musical, but can't win best song? Something just seems off here. Why is everyone so obsessed with Ugly Betty? Doesn't that come on the same time as The Office? Change the channel America!! Eddie Murphy over Jack Nicholson or Mark Wahlberg is begging for "OMG Comeback" Headlines. Not sure if Oscar will be as kind. I guess I was wrong on that one. I was also really hoping Cohen would come out as Borat. I think this is the first time I've ever seen him as himself and not one of his characters.
