Any luck of the Saw franchise slowing down was laid to rest this weekend. When Saw 3 opened way above expectations, and much higher then the two previous films. It looks like jigsaw is america's favorite new movie monster. Good news for the Departed, it has stayed strong in second place for three solid weeks. It's now on track to being Scorsese's biggest box office hit. Running with Scissors opened as a dud, some how I'm not really surprised.
Next week we have Borat, Flushed Away from the creators of Wallace and Gromit, and the ultimate Oscar contender Santa Clause 3: All Tim Allen wants for Xmas is his career back.
