It appears that Nascar is still king this weekend. It also appears that a lot of teenage girls still watch dance movies, as Step Up had a higher then expected debut. World Trade Center did okay, but nothing too exciting. Considering the current state of terrorism alerts, this one could have been better timed.
Next week comes the super-hyped Snakes on a Plane. Will all of the viral marketing be really effective? If the film does well expect a lot more films will silly titles and more focus on internet hype by marketing execs.
